Used to support huge transformers, Vulcascot’s free laying transformer mounts require no bolting or fixing. Simply identify the location of each support from the drawings of the floor plan and the heavy equipment can then be lowered directly into place.

A number of multi national transformer manufacturers are successfully using Vulcascot transformer mounts particularly where the equipment is standing in hot transformer oil.

A prominent feature of the Vulcascot mountings is the fact that the product is  produced in standard dimensions of 75mm wide x 38mm thick in other words, ‘one size fits all.’ Additionally, the product can be manufactured in practically any continuous length up to a maximum of 7metres.

Produced from a cocktail of technical polymers and additives, Vulcascot Transfomer Mounts contain a large proportion of high quality Neoprene  which is a major reason why the product has outstanding ageing properties, particularly in hot transformer oil,  proven over some decades of service experience..

Resistance to ozone cracking as well as hot transformer oil and grease as a result of prolonged exposure is far superior to that of other materials. Vulcascot Transformer Mounts are fully compliant to BEBS-T2 (1966).Other extrusions and mouldings are available in many technical rubber materials.
